Well It has been a while since I have posted anything. Almost a full year has passed since my last post. I have decided to start blogging again as something to do in these kind of messed up times. So what have I been up to in the past year ?

I have not left New England since my trip to Ireland back in May of last year. I was going to be heading to Seattle for a week earlier this month, but due to recent events that got canceled. I have taken some nice photos of my local area, and hope to start going out for more walkabouts now that the weather is getting nicer again.

Physically I started losing weight in January and got off about 40 pounds before the virus locked the gyms out. I hope to once the gym opens up again start back on that treadmill (both literally and figuratively). Right now with all the stresses going on I am just trying to maintain the loss more than anything

Mentally I’m doing about as well as can be expected considering everything going on. Mostly just feeling a bit alone not able to see any of my friends , but hopefully that will be changing in the coming months.

Spiritually I haven’t been as active as I have been in the past. For me spiritual life comes in waves , where how much I practice can vary drastically from time to time. I am looking forward to Midsummer coming up soon , and Beltane was okay this year but in many ways that world has taken a sideline for a little while.

So what can you expect from the blog going forward ? Well I am going to try to update once a week sometime on probably Saturday. It will still be a mix of Local lore , a little travel when I can , food posts when I have the appetite to , Spiritual stuff when I feel it is warranted. I think If I can get one entry out a week that is a good start. If I come up with anything else to say I may post more, but I am going to try for once a week. If you have any suggestions for topics please don’t hesitate to contact me . I will actually be looking at the email address again.

Looking forward to Getting my thoughts out there again,

Until next time.
